Asya Shipping

WORLDWIDE SERVICES

Asya Shipping offer our clients a wide range of the following services

OUR SERVICES

For your request in one hand.

Deadweight Increase

A deadweight survey determines the lightweight, which directly affects how much a ship can carry, and is often part of the inclination test. Our naval architects are well experienced in the execution of these tasks and available on short notice.

Hull Structure Calculations

Surveys of hull structures required for condition assessment and/or repair purposes, survey report and photographic documentation, on the basis of hull survey, thickness measurements analysis and strength calculation we prepare repair sketches and a detailed calculation/specification of steel to be renewed.

Inclining Experiment Calculations

The purpose of the inclining experiment is to establish the vertical distance of the centre-of-mass of the ship above its keel in the lightship condition. This value is then taken as the point of reference when loading the ship, for establishing the ‘in-service’ stability, throughout the life of the ship.

Freeboard & Tonnage Calculations

Draft surveys are made in order to determine the quantity of cargo loaded, carried and discharged. This is done by measuring the vessels draft and calculating its displacement prior loading a cargo and after loading of this cargo, taking variables such as weight lightship, ballast water, fuel and stores into account.

Dry dock Superintendent Service

The single biggest expenditure for any owner, investor or financier after buying a vessel is the cost of dry-docking. Asya Shipping provides a comprehensive dry dock management service which has been proven to save our clients time and money.

Crew Management

Constant change and environmental challenges define modern shipping and crew management services. We’re already educating and training our crew in best practices from energy saving engines to avoiding pollution.

Ballast Water Management Plan

Asya Shipping Compact Clean Ballast Water Management & Treatment Systems offer high quality, compliant performance anywhere in the world.

Stability Calculations & Booklets

Asya Shipping has many years of experience in carrying out weight control, CoG estimation, Ship stability assessments of all types of vessels related to new builds, conversions and various other projects. Stability calculations are carried out based on procedures and requirements from various international rule and guidelines from IMO Codes, Classification Societies.

Technical Management

The maritime service rendered to maintain and operate vessels, as commissioned by a ship owner or charter.

Weight Distribution Calculation

Cargo stowage affects the stability of a ship, sometimes dramatically. In general: the cargo must be disposed throughout the vessel as to ensure that she is in a stable condition at all times, or can be kept in that position by the use of ballast tanks as the voyage progresses. The total weight of the cargo has to be distributed by the centerline (forward/after, port/starboard, up/down).

Seakeeping & Manouevring Calculations

Maneuvering and seakeeping are two very important naval architecture research areas. There are several methods to determine a vessel's behavior, but most of them are time-consuming, apply linear techniques or introduce several simplifications.

Model Tank Tests

Various tests are performed to evaluate ship resistance, propulsion, manoeuvring and seakeeping of all the types of hull forms. Test methodology, post-test analyses and extrapolation to full-scale are guided by ITTC Recommended Procedures.

Ballast Water Treatment Systems

Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) is a system designed to remove and destroy/inactive biological organisms (zooplankton, algae, bacteria) from ballast water.

Fuel Consumption Analyses

Our fuel testing solutions can reduce your risk by ensuring that you receive the quality and quantity of fuel that you require  at every stage.
